Ramadan is the name of the ninth month of the lunar Islamic calendar. It is believed that it was in this month that Allah began the revelation of the Qur'an as "a guide for all people and as an explanation of the straight path that separates truth from falsehood." In Islam, Ramadan is recognized as a time of Allah's mercy, humility, forgiveness of sins and fasting. Ramadan is the month when mosques come to life, their walls are filled with parishioners! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loved being in the mosque. At that time, the mosque was very small, it did not have air conditioning and modern amenities. But oddly enough, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) visited the mosque with great zeal and desire. Some of them daily, five times came to the mosque of the prophet (alayhissalam), on foot! Their journey took one and a half, two hours! When someone stopped going to prayers, they understood that the person was very ill and immediately visited him. What now? There are all amenities, the subway, there is transport, almost everyone has cars, but most come to the mosque twice a year - on Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Adha! We should be ashamed of such behavior, we will be asked for the neglect of mosques

I pray to Allah that we meet the blessed month of Ramadan prepared, in health and tranquility! If there is a sincere intention in our hearts, then He will accept our fast, forgive our sins, and reward us with Paradise in the Hereafter!
